Powers and Abilities:
+ Werewolf transformation. On the night of the full moon, Jack transforms into a half-wolf, half-man monster with a powerful prey drive, exaggerated aggression, and greatly heightened strength, speed, agility, and healing factor. He has cunning, but none of his human alter-ego's self-awareness and care for human life. Still, he tends to only attack those who can conceivably be considered a threat. Unfortunately, confronted with a werewolf, most people start screaming and fighting, so they wind up being categorized as a threat, or running, and being categorized as prey.
+ Human form perks. In human form, Jack has enhanced senses of hearing and smell, and a slightly enhanced regeneration, but nothing more. He is, in fact, red-green colorblind and cannot eat chocolate. It's very sad.
+ Mundane skills. Jack is a smooth talker, a quick thinker, and speaks multiple languages. He has basic knowledge of many survival tasks, from finding water, building a fire, cooking over said fire, farming, mending, first aid, and basic construction work. He's had a lot of time to learn a wide variety of trades, over his long life, and though we'll avoid the pun, he still wouldn't say he's master of any of them.
What Did Your Character Wish For? To have full control over himself in werewolf form.
What Potion Did They Receive? Healing
Did They Drink It? Not yet, but he will eventually once he can trust that it hasn't hurt anyone else who drank it. He will be able to close up small wounds, staunch bigger ones to help in first aid, and cure the common cold, or at least alleviate the symptoms.
Character Questions:
1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon? Or who is someone they miss the most? Jack's favorite person on screen is Ted, a giant tree-person who is probably the former scientist Theodore Salis who became the Man-Thing in the comics. He's laid-back and friendly, so long as you're not trying to kill him or put him in a cage, and is patient with Jack's wandering tendencies. Jack is going to spend quite a while in-game sure Ted is going to find him and rescue him eventually. It's what they do: they rescue each other.
2. What are they most afraid of? Jack is mostly afraid of killing innocent people as a werewolf. He has done this before, and he will do it again, and he really hates it. He doesn't really mind killing guilty people, most of the time, but his definition of "guilty" is very narrow and particular so not many people really fit the criteria. He has a slightly lesser fear of being locked in small spaces while not a wolf-monster. It's not claustrophobia really, it's specifically of being caged in the long term, though it can manifest a lot like claustrophobia if kept confined for more than an hour or so.
3. What is their weakness? Emotionally, mentally and physically? Emotionally, Jack is very restless and tends towards moving around a lot, both with people and locations. Staying in one place makes him itchy and bored, unless he has a clear stated goal to work towards in that place. It is going to be "fun" for him to be trapped in a tiny town with just a maze to explore. Mentally, Jack tends towards overconfidence in his bull-shitting abilities. He can talk a fast talk and skate by on charisma… a lot of the time, but definitely not all of the time, and especially not when he's not sure what he's getting into. Physically, so long as he isn't in his transformed state, Jack does not know the first thing about fighting. This is on purpose, as he has absolutely no desire to fight anyone ever. He's great at dodging and rolling and running away! But ask him to throw a punch and he's clueless.
4. What would make them happiest? To save every monster who just wants to live their life and not hurt people. Yes, this includes himself, he would very much like to stop being hunted please, but just in general he just wants the non-humans of the world to be safe so long as they're keeping the people around them safe. Not all monsters even go mad and eat people like he does, anyway, and they still get hunted! It's very unfair.
5. What’s their type for a lover? Easy-going, fun-loving, loyal, and kind. Jack tends strongly towards friends-with-benefits rather than stable romantic connections, though he will generally only have one of those at a time. However, given his own long life and his tendency to wander away to another part of the world within a year or two at most, Jack tends not to keep these benefits for very long. If someone is most happy with an on-again-off-again relationship, or if someone is willing to travel with him, though, he'd make someone a happy partner, as he's quite attentive and affectionate.
